“Quite frankly, our marriage was sad. No love and zero passion. Basically, we were roommates – just going through the motions of working and raising our kids. Dr. Kane helped us uncover and heal years of resentfulness and negativity. We really learned how to connect like lovers again. Now, we have the tools to keep the fire burning and our passion alive! ”
“My husband cheated on me 20 years into our marriage. It was devastating and I didn’t think we would survive. Dr. Kane’s guidance was impeccable. We dug into the pain and healed our relationship from the inside out. He was so delicate and created a space that we could explore deep issues without judgement. Without him, our marriage would have ended. ”
“Before starting therapy we were arguing too much and feeling tired and worn out. It was getting worse by the day and we were close to giving up. Doc really knew how to get to core of what was happening. He has as soft, easy-going demeanor but his approach is direct and intentional. Each week he gave us exercises that helped us develop a huge toolbox we now can use when we hit a “rough patch in our relationship.”’

As a matter of fact, Consumer Reports published an article with their conclusions after conducting an extensive independent survey of psychotherapy clients. A startling 90% of the 4,000 respondents reported that they were doing substantially better after treatment. What’s more, researchers found that individuals who were treated with psychotherapy alone achieved the same results as those treated with medication and therapy.
